The parent business

Native Balkan herbs, family-cultivated since 1990.

The tea packaging division grew out of a 36-year-old herb operation. The herb business still runs in parallel - same fields, same family, same EU food safety paperwork chain.

Wild Balkan herbs drying in woven baskets - the family supply chain since 1990.

How the supply chain works

From field to documented batch.

  1. 01

    Cultivation

Family-owned or family-leased land. Mountain altitude for wild varieties; valley land for cultivated camomile and peppermint.

  2. 02

    Hand-harvesting

Most crops harvested by hand at the right developmental stage. Mechanical harvesting only where the herb tolerates it.

  3. 03

    Drying

Open-air drying for delicate flowers; controlled-temperature drying for thicker leaves. Brought in-house in the late 1990s.

  4. 04

    Sieving + sorting

Manual + mechanical sorting. Size grading. Foreign-body removal.

  5. 05

    Documentation

Batch records, certificate of analysis, country-of-origin paperwork. Brand-level traceability per batch.

  6. 06

    Export

EU food safety documentation. Direct shipment to family-run apothecaries, wellness houses, tea retailers.
