Why is Full Production lead time so much longer than Co-Packing?

Full Production includes sourcing the tea, developing the recipe, designing the packaging, and printing - none of which Co-Packing requires because you supply the tea and finished artwork.

Can lead times be compressed for urgent projects?

Sometimes. Standard requests we ship on the timeline shown. Expedited requests we handle case-by-case - it usually means rescheduling around an existing client. Ask in the quote form.

How the math works

Where the weeks come from.

Co-Packing base: 2-4 weeks. This is line time plus envelope sealing, carton assembly, and palletizing. Assumes you supply tea and final artwork.

Full Production base: 8-12 weeks. Includes sourcing the tea (3-4 weeks), recipe development with iteration, packaging design, print proofs, and the same downstream pack + ship sequence.

On top of the base, we add weeks for unfinished artwork, in-progress recipe iteration, country-specific certifications (UK + Switzerland tend to need extras), and multi-SKU sequencing where the line changes over between blends.

The number you see is what we deliver on standard scheduling. Expedites are possible but require pushing other clients - we negotiate those case-by-case.
